About Hunt Theatre
Husky Theatre at Hunt Middle School is an amazing experience and opportunity for involvement for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students at Hunt. We have various productions and performance opportunities throughout the year. These range from our annual musical, to participating in UIL competitions in Frisco, and surrounding areas, to numerous class performances. We offer the following classes: Theatre 1 - 3, Technical Theatre and Theatre Productions. In these classes, students get hands-on experiences with all things theatre! It can be anything from learning how to perform a monologue, writing your own play, or working with tools to build sets.

Meet Ms. Maucieri
Hello! I'm Ms. Maucieri and I am the Theatre Director at Hunt Middle School. This is my 4th year both in Frisco and as an educator. My family is from Plano, TX and I attended school at Stephen F Austin State University (Axe 'Em Jacks!). I have acted in 35 productions and have directed 20. In my free time, I love reading, drinking coffee, playing board games, doing puzzles, and watching trash reality shows. I can't wait for another great year as a Hunt Husky!

What’s Available
Theatre 1
Introduction to theatre fundamentals, concepts, and history.
No prerequisites required.
Theatre 2
A more in-depth study of theatrical history, stage craft, and technical approach.
Required prerequisite: Theatre 1
Advanced Theatre (Theatre Production)
Students will participate in active productions throughout the school year. This includes UIL One Act Play competition and technical design.
Required Prerequisite: Theatre 1
